APHA-SA Liaisons to APHA Sections

Section liaisons play an important role within APHA-SA by helping to:

• Advocate for the development and promotion of student involvement, recognition, and leadership in their Section
• Promote their section within APHA-SA
• Assist other Section Liaisons in advocating for student opportunities within APHA section

Sections are the basic organizational unit of the American Public Health Association's (APHA) membership. The 25 discipline-based Sections enable members to share knowledge and experience with their peers, develop new techniques and contribute to the growing body of scientific knowledge within those respective fields.
