The conference will present state-of-the-art updates, innovations and new perspectives in five major areas: "Public Health Practice," "Clinical Preventive Medicine," "Healthcare Quality Improvement, "Prevention Policy" and "Teaching Preventive Medicine," "Preventive Medicine 2008" will be held at the Hilton Austin, in Austin, Texas, February 20-23, 2008. To be considered for a presentation, submissions must be received by Wednesday, August 15. All abstracts must be submitted to ACPM online at http://www.preventivemedicine2008.org. All submissions will be reviewed by members of the Preventive Medicine 2008 Program Planning Committee. The author of each submission will be notified by Monday, October 1.
