Plans after school:
Pursue my PhD after which I would like to conduct research and continue preventative outreach and health policy work.
Personal Statement about APHA-SA:
I am very eager and honored to serve as the Development Committee Co-Chair. Having been actively involved in numerous aspects of public health including peer education programs (substance abuse, sexual health, and sexual assault and rape prevention), clinical trial research for investigational devices for smoking cessation, and health policy in the US Department of Health and Human Services- Office on Disability, I am excited to continue my work and research as a student, and to be a strong voice on the APHA-SA board.
